■1 シミュラークル的存在としての中田ヤスタカ

artonさんとこに『ハイカラ・ガール』が貼ってあったので、禁を破って久々に聞いてしまった。この陽気で聴くのは危険だ。

『ハイカラ・ガール』は私には、東京に出てきた3月の終わりの陽光の差す、カーテンもまだ付けていない、家財道具も何ひとつないワンルームマンションガランとした部屋を思い起こさせる。なにかが起こりそうな予感。でもまだ何も、何も起こっていない。独り。ただただ暖かい空気だけがそこにある。

capsuleは、かっぺの作る、かっぺのための音楽だ。

日本中に拡がるFrancfranc的な「田舎の人の考えるおしゃれ」を具体化したような音楽だ。

薄いカルピスだ。

capsuleには何の批評性も、実験も、考えもない。

どこまでも能天気に先人の上辺だけをコピーする、くるくるパーな音楽だ。

記憶に新しい近過去の流行からコピーしてくる点も、怒りに近い恥ずかしさを感じる。

フェイクなのか。リアルなのか。あるいはシミュラークル? ハイパーリアル?　ああ、そうかもね。

レーザー・ビーム。俺に向けて照射するのは、やめてくれ。ディス・コ・コ・コ。

■2 索引づくり、訳者作業完了

むつかしい。あまり気の利いた索引にできなかった……というか再校を読んでると本文も全部やり直したい。でも……これが実力なのよね。『On Lisp』を読むのは、印刷所に入稿されて、取り返しがつかなくなってからにすべきだった。ともあれ、これで訳者としての作業はおしまい。なんとか「2007年春刊行」というデブサミで配ったチラシのスケジュールは(大過がなければ)守れそう。4月は春だよね。
